Calidad migratoria consular residente

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (MRE) otorga esta calidad migratoria a aquellas personas extranjeras que vienen al Perú a desempeñar funciones consulares por encargo y a solicitud de su Gobierno, previa consideración de la documentación oficial que acredite el desempeño de dichas funciones. La calidad migratoria Consular será otorgada también a las personas que conforman el núcleo familiar de dicho extranjero.​


Calidad migratoria diplomática residente
El MRE otorga esta calidad migratoria a aquella persona extranjera que sea titular de pasaporte diplomático y que viene al Perú a desempeñar funciones de ese carácter, por encargo y solicitud de su Gobierno, previa consideración de la documentación oficial que acredite el desempeño de dichas funciones. La calidad migratoria Diplomática será otorgada también a las personas que conforman el núcleo familiar de dicha persona y que sean titulares de pasaportes diplomáticos.

Calidad migratoria Oficial residente
El MRE otorga esta calidad migratoria a aquellas personas extranjeras que ingresen al país por encargo y a solicitud de su Gobierno o de una Organización u Organismo Internacional, a fin de cumplir funciones oficiales. También será otorgada a las personas que conforman su núcleo familiar y que lo acompañan en el cumplimiento de sus funciones.

Procedimiento para solicitar la visa en pasaportes diplomáticos, especiales, oficiales o de servicio.

Las solicitudes de este tipo de visas deben ser hechos formalmente por el Gobierno extranjero, Organización u Organismo Internacional a través del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú con sede en Lima, Dirección de Privilegios.

El Consulado sólo emite las visas que han sido previamente autorizadas por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú, Dirección de Privilegios, una de cuyas funciones es la "Expedición, renovación y cancelación de visas diplomáticas y oficiales de los funcionarios de las misiones diplomáticas, organizaciones internacionales y ENIEX."​

Consular immigration status, resident

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) grants this migratory status to those foreigners who come to Peru to perform consular functions on behalf of and at the request of their Government, after considering the official documentation that proves the performance of said functions. Consular immigration status will also be granted to the people who make up the family nucleus of said foreigner.

Diplomatic immigration status, resident

The MRE grants this migratory status to that foreign person who is the holder of a diplomatic passport and who comes to Peru to perform functions of that nature, by order and request of their Government, prior consideration of the official documentation that proves the performance of said functions. Diplomatic immigration status will also be granted to the people who make up the family nucleus of said person and who are holders of diplomatic passports.

Official migratory status, resident

The MRE grants this migratory status to those foreigners who enter the country by order and at the request of their Government or an International Organization or Organization, in order to fulfill official functions. It will also be granted to the people who make up his family nucleus and who accompany him in the performance of his duties.

Procedure to request the visa in diplomatic, special, official or service passports.

Requests for this type of visa must be formally made by the foreign Government, Organization or International Organization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru based in Lima, Directorate of Privileges.

The Consulate only issues visas that have been previously authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, Directorate of Privileges, one of whose functions is the "Issue, renewal and cancellation of diplomatic and official visas of officials of diplomatic missions, organizations international and ENIEX."​
