Foreign citizens who wish to visit Peru and
require a visa according to their country of origin
may apply for a Tourist visa if they have recreational or similar purposes. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of immigration, permanent residence or the development of remunerated activities.
Requirements
- To complete the form provided by the Consular Office (Form DGC 005), with black ink, including the fingerprint of the right index and signature.
- To present the passport with a minimum validity of six (06) months counted from the entry into Peru.
- Round trip ticket to Peru (ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
- Hotel reservation; or tourist package reservation; or letter of invitation legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
- Two (2) front-face passport-sized photographs in colours, with a white background and without glasses.
- Proof of economic solvency that is proportionate to the time requested to remain in Peru: a recent copy of your bank account statement.
- Work certificate.
- Copy of the Residence Permit issued by Sweden or Denmark.
- It is possible to send the aforementioned information, in advance, to info@peruembassy.se; however, the original documents must be sent via certified mail to the Embassy.
- Personal interview, scheduled by the Consular Office.

Observations
- The presentation of the visa application and the required documentation does not guarantee the automatic granting of a visa. Each request is individually evaluated by the Peruvian consular officer.
- During the processing of the application, the submission of additional requirements may be requested.
- IMPORTANT: The citizens of Sweden and Denmark are exempted from the temporary visa requirement in the migratory status of tourism. The maximum period of stay is ninety (90) calendar days, either as a continuous visit or several consecutive visits, during a period of six (06) months.
