Foreign citizens wishing to conduct a business in Peru must obtain a business visa, unless the country of origin of the citizen has an
agreement with the Peruvian state that allows traveling to Peru without a visa for this purpose. This visa is mandatory for anyone who is going to conclude a contract.
Requirements
- To complete the form provided by the Consular Office (Form DGC 005),
- with black ink, including the fingerprint of the right index and signature.
- To present the passport with a minimum validity of six (06) months counted from the entry into Peru.
- Round trip ticket to Peru (ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
- Residence permit issued by Sweden or Denmark.
- Economic solvency letter (written or translated into Spanish) of the foreign company or guild that the person represents during their stay in Peru (preferably registered before the competent authority of the country of origin). Also, it should indicate that the representative has enough economic backing to cover all their expenses during the stay in Peru.
- Letter from the Peruvian company, when the trip is linked to a specific national counterpart, indicating the reason and term of the trip, as well as having enough economic backing to cover the expenses of the applicant during their stay in Peru.
- Two (2) front-face passport-sized photographs in colors, with a white background and without glasses.
- It is possible to send the aforementioned information in advance to the email address info@peruembassy.se; however, the original documents must be sent by certified post mail to the Embassy.
- Personal interview scheduled by the Consular Office.

Observations
- The presentation of the visa application and the required documentation does not guarantee the automatic granting of a visa. Each request is individually evaluated by the Peruvian consular officer.
- During the processing of the application, the submission of additional requirements may be requested.
- IMPORTANT: The citizens of Sweden and Denmark are exempted from the temporary visa requirement in the migratory status of business. The maximum period of stay is ninety (90) calendar days, either as a continuous visit or several consecutive visits, during a period of six (06) months.
