Issuance of Tourist Visa

Foreign nationals wishing to visit Peru anq require a visa, according to their country of origin, may apply for a Tourist visa if they have recreational or similar purposes. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of immigration, permanent residence or development of remunerated activities.

CANADIAN CITIZENS (WITH PASSPORT) DO NOT NEED A TOURIST VISA.

Requirements

Fill out the form provided by the Peruvian Consulate (DGC 005).
Personal interview, scheduled by the Peruvian Consulate.
Present a valid passport with more than six (6) months at the time of entering Peru.
Present Canadian Permanent Resident Card.
Round Trip ticket to Peru (Reservation. The purchase of a ticket does not guarantee the issuance of a visa).
Hotel booking, or tour package booking, or letter of invitation (any of these documents).
One (1) color photograph (35 x 43 mm). (*)
Show financial solvency: recent copy of your bank statement (3 last months).

THE SUBMISSION OF THE VISA APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE AUTOMATIC ISSUANCE OF A VISA. EACH APPLICATION IS ASSESSED INDIVIDUALLY BY THE PERUVIAN CONSUL.
DURING THE PROCEEDING OF THE APPLICATION, IT MAY BE REQUIRED THE SUBMISSION OF ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS.
THE PRESENTATION OF THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE DONE AT LEAST ON MONTH BEFORE THE TRAVEL DATE.
