Issuance of Tourist Visa

The tourist visa is intended for those who enter the country without residence and for the purpose of tourist visits or recreational activities or similar. Consequently, they are not allowed to perform lucrative activities.

GERMAN AND EUROPEAN CITIZENS OF SCHENGEN SPACE
German citizens will be able to enter Peru without the need for a tourist visa. They will require carrying their valid passport and ticket from Peru.

The immigration authority will indicate in the passport, the moment of entering Peru, the time of authorized stay as a tourist. Extensions of this period are requested from the National Superintendency of Migration in Peru (www.migraciones.gob.pe) before the end of the authorized period of stay.
The maximum period of stay as a tourist in Peru is 90 days.
