If you are an official of an entity abroad and wish to enter Peru, you must apply for a temporary official, diplomatic or consular visa.
Conditions
- The temporary official, diplomatic or consular visa can only be managed by the entity of which the official who will travel to Peru is the holder.
- The cost of the procedure is free of charge.
- The process takes three working days from the date of the appointment.
- The passport must be valid for at least six (06) months from the date of entry into the national territory and contain empty pages.
- Submission of the visa application and required documentation does not guarantee the automatic granting of a visa. Each application is individually evaluated by the Consulate.
- Additional requirements may be required during the processing of the application.
- To change the migratory status, please consult the web page of the National Superintendence of Migration of Peru.
- Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for people visiting the Amazon.
Requirements
- Form DGC 005 duly completed
- Copy of the passport (page with data and photo).
- Note Verbale requesting the visa.
- Passport size colour photo with white background without lenses (to be submitted on the day of the appointment).
- Present original entry and exit ticket to and from Peru, or flight itinerary.
Do it in 3 steps
- Obtain the appointment
Send to the e-mail consuladoperu@conperginebra.ch all the required documentation. The consular officer will review the documentation sent and if he is satisfied with it, he will send you an e-mail proposing an appointment.
- Go to the appointment
On the day of the appointment, go to the Consulate, located at Rue des Pierres du Niton 17, 1207, Genève, Suisse, with all the requirements. The consular officer will receive the documents submitted, as well as your passport or travel document to which the visa will be affixed. A date will be scheduled for picking-up the visa.
- Pick up the visa
On the scheduled date, go to the Consular Office to pick up your visa.
