Foreign nationals whose final destination is another country, whose flight or voyage transits through peruvian territory (including a peruvian airport) and
require a visa, according to their country of origin, must apply for a Transit visa. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of tourism, business immigration, permanent residence or development of remunerated activities.
Requirements
- Fill out the form provided by the Peruvian consulate (DGC 005).
- Personal interview, scheduled by the Peruvian consulate.
- Present a valid passport.
- Round Trip ticket to your final destination (ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
- Hotel booking (if transit requires it).
- Two (2) passport size colour photographs.
- Show financial solvency: recent copy of your bank statement (within the last two months), work certificate, credit cards, etc.
- Payment of the corresponding consular fee.
- Copy of the residency visa in Ecuador and national I.D (which proves residency).
- Copy of a negative certificate of police record (Certificado de Antecedentes Policiales).
- The Consul may ask for more documents or certificates if deemed necessary.
