Issuance of Tourist Visa
Foreign nationals wishing to visit Peru and
require a visa, according to their country of origin, may apply for a Tourist visa if they have recreational or similar purposes. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of immigration, permanent residence or development of remunerated activities. Once the visa application is formally submitted, the assessment/evaluation period shall be seven (7) working days.
Requirements

Fill out the form provided by the Peruvian consulate (DGC 005).
- Personal interview, scheduled by the Peruvian consulate.

Present a valid passport.
- Round Trip ticket to Peru (ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
- Hotel booking; or tour package booking; or invitation letter legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru (any of these documents);
- Two (2) passport size colour photographs.
- Show financial solvency: recent copy of your bank statement (within the last two months), work certificate, credit cards, etc.

Payment of the corresponding consular fee.
- Copy of the residency visa in Ecuador and national I.D (which proves residency).
- Copy of a negative certificate of police record (Certificado de Antecedentes Policiales).
- The Consul may ask for more documents or certificates if deemed necessary.

30.00 Consular Soles (*)
(*) A Consular Sol is equivalent to one US dollar in local currency.

How to apply
All visa applications must be submitted to consuladoperuquito@gmail.com, along with all the documents and certificates mentioned in the "Requeriments" section, which will be latter submitted directly to this Peruvian Consulate's headquarters.
Observations
- The submission of the visa application and supporting documents does not guarantee automatic issuance of a visa. Each application is assessed individually by the Peruvian Consul.
- During the proceedings of the application, it may be required the submission of additional requirements.
Issuance of Transit Visa
Foreign nationals whose final destination is another country, whose flight or voyage transits through peruvian territory (including a peruvian airport) and
require a visa, according to their country of origin, must apply for a Transit visa. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of tourism, business immigration, permanent residence or development of remunerated activities. Once the visa application is formally submitted, the assessment/evaluation period shall be seven (7) working days.
