Foreign nationals wishing to do business in Peru must obtain a business visa, unless the country of origin of the citizen has an agreement with the Peruvian government to allow travel to Peru without a business visa for this purpose. This Visa is mandatory for anyone who is going to conclude a contract.
Requisitos
- Payment of the corresponding consular fee for receiving documents, this payment is neither REFUNDABLE nor TRANSFERABLE (it is paid in bolivars through the point of sale of the Consulate General depending on the exchange rate of the BCV rate).
- Copy of the Venezuelan Identity Card (resident and/or Venezuelan).
- Present the valid passport and a copy of it.
- Reservation of ticket to and from Peru.
- Letter from the Venezuelan company stating the purpose of visit, duration of the same, and that he has sufficient economic support to cover all expenses during the stay in Peru.
- Letter from the Peruvian company, where travel is tied to a specific national counterpart, stating the reason and time thereof, and that he has sufficient financial support to cover his expenses.
- One (1) passport size color photograph.
- Criminal record: request the official Venezuelan document duly legalized and apostilled, from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, as well as the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Relations (competent authorities).
- Fill out the Visa Application Form DGC 005.
*Before filling out the DGC-005 form, be sure to read carefully and fill in all fields with correct and accurate information. Once the form is received, no changes or modifications will be allowed.

It is paid in bolivars through the point of sale of the Consulate General.
Observaciones
- Visa application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances
- The submission of the visa application and supporting documents does not guarantee automatic issuance of a visa. Each application is assessed individually by the Consulate General of Peru.
- During the formalities of the application, it may be required the submission of additional requirements.
- The purchase of an air ticket to Peru will not condition in any way the result of the visa application process.
- If your visa application is approved, you will be called within 5 business days to inform you of the day and time of your appointment.
- The Consulate General of Peru reserves the reasons why your visa application does not qualify.
