Foreign nationals wishing to visit Peru and require a visa, according to their country of origin, may apply for a Tourist visa if they have recreational or similar purposes. This migratory status does not admit the purpose of immigration, permanent residence, or development of remunerated activities.
*Japanese nationals do not require a Tourist Visa when traveling as tourists to Peru.
Requirements
- Application form: Visa Application Form (DGC 005)
- Valid passport (at least six months of validity from the date of entry to Peruvian territory)
- Residence card of Japan (with more than 1 year of stay in Japan and at least 6 months of remaining residence permit)
- 1 passport-size photograph (colored, white background)
- Round-trip ticket or reservation indicating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru
- Hotel reservation, tourist agency reservation, or invitation letter legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru
- Proof of financial solvency (bank balance certificate)
- Cost: Consular fee (tarifas consulares)
- 1 LETTER PACK PLUS for return by postal mail
*The submission of the visa application and supporting documents does not guarantee automatic issuance of a visa. Each application is assessed individually by the Peruvian Consul.
*During the proceedings of the application, it may be required the submission of additional requirements.
*All the documents you submit must be with Spanish or English translation.
